The Best Tattoo Shop Software to Streamline Your Studio Operations

Is your tattoo studio’s clientele growing? Are your existing clients in need of more attention, and your artists appointment book could be organized better?

This might be the right timing for you to start using tattoo studio software that suits your needs.

As a tattoo studio your job is to make your new and existing clients happy as well as your tattoo artists. This can be a challenge, as you have to do many jobs simultaneously. Think about customer management, appointment bookings, release forms, your online reputation on social media platforms and in search engines, loyalty programs, etc.

Many tattoo studio owners are specialized in one aspect eg. managing appointments, and less in an other part of the tattoo business, eg. administrative work.

Let’s take a look at all the features Tattoogenda has to offer your tattoo shop, and see if it can help your tattoo studio as an all in one system.

Benefits of Tattoo Scheduling Software

Tattoo scheduling software offers numerous benefits for tattoo studios, artists, and clients. By automating administrative tasks, tattoo artists can focus more on their craft, while clients can have their peace of mind by receiving appointment list and reminders. Here are some of the key benefits:

  • Increased Efficiency: Tattoo scheduling software streamlines the booking process, reducing the need for extra phone calls, emails, and paperwork. This allows your studio to operate more smoothly and efficiently.

  • Improved Client Satisfaction: Automated reminders and notifications for appointments ensure that clients arrive on time, reducing no-shows and last-minute cancellations. This leads to happier clients and a more reliable schedule.

  • Enhanced Client Management: Tattoo scheduling software provides a centralized platform for managing customer information, including appointment history, customers trustworthiness, financial history, contact details, and preferences. This makes it easier to keep track of client interactions and tailor services to their needs.

  • Increased Revenue: By reducing no-shows and last-minute cancellations, tattoo studios can increase revenue and improve cash flow. More reliable scheduling means more opportunities to fill your calendar with paying clients.

  • Better Time Management: Tattoo scheduling software allows artists to manage their time more effectively, enabling them to take on more clients and increase productivity. This means more time spent on creating art and less on administrative tasks.

Manage Tattoo Artists

Make all your artists happy and book appointments for them like never before. With our tattoo studio software you can set each artists own preferences like which tattoo style they prefer, how many deposit cost to ask, their socials to promote to the customers, and keep all projects details at their finger tips.

Automated Appointment Reminders

The best tattoo studio software has a minimum of sending at least automated reminders for appointments to your customers. TG can do this by email or through SMS.

What TG does more than other tattoo software, is that your customers will also receive an automated email with their appointment list + a chance to pay their deposit by clicking the payment button in such mail.

Follow-up and aftercare mails are also essential for the tattoo industry. They help you grow your (Google) reviews and with that your tattoo studios reputation.

Deposit Tracking

TG tattoo studio software greatly reduces no shows. How? First, by requesting a deposit from every customer. Our automated emails are allowing clients to pay the deposit for their appointments with online payments. You can accept payments for the deposits, all you need is a Stripe or Mollie account to connect with TG. Second, with the appointment reminders we discussed before we also reduce no shows significantly.

Resident Artists

The resident artists of your tattoo studio are the local heart, where customers come back to. They provide the personal experience in your studio. They talk to clients in the same language and they mostly help you operate your point of sale.

Every tattoo and piercing studio starts and ends with your artists. Our software is also highly rated for ease of use and setup for piercing studios.

  • Use Custom Forms: Create custom forms to collect relevant information from clients, such as medical history and design preferences. They ensure that you have all the necessary information before starting a tattoo.

  • Monitor Your Schedule: Regularly review your schedule to ensure that it is up-to-date and accurate. Keeping a close eye on your calendar helps prevent double bookings and other scheduling conflicts.

  • Analyze Your Data: Use your software’s reporting features to analyze your data and make informed decisions about your business. Data analysis can reveal trends and opportunities for improvement, helping you grow your studio.

By following these best practices, you can maximize the benefits of your tattoo scheduling software and ensure a smooth, efficient operation for your studio.

Online Booking

Since TG was made especially for tattoo studios, we prioritized tattoo-specific features, including the integration of a digital calendar with tattoo project parent lavels where appointmnets belong to.
As in most studios, it’s up to the manager/receptionist to inform the customer how much time a tattoo would take, how much it would cost, which artist is the best fit for the project, etc.
Every tattoo is different and therefor you can not make generic timeslots with fixed prices to let customers choose from.

It’s not like in a hairdresser salon where you can pick one of the 20 predefined services that each have their own fixed price and duration.

Tattoo and piercing studios need more personal guidance towards the customer.
