🎵🎶 Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey! 🎵🎶

Sorry, I’ve got Simple Minds’ Don’t You (Forget About Me) playing in the background while writing up news about our latest updates over here at Tattoogenda.

Now that I’ve got that tune stuck in your head, let me tell you about some of the updates the team has been up to this summer.

Expanded service categories for tattoo and piercing studios

In the new release, you can add new service categories. Have a new Piercer who isn’t afraid to pierce anything? Adding Laser removal or Permanent Make-Up to your studio offering? You can organise your service categories by the way you work. The same also applies to subcategories. Organising a dedicated flash tattoo day and want to track bookings for that campaign? Want to make sure Team meetings are blocked in calendars? Prefer to organise by Tattoo style? You could. Just set the category to Tattoo and subcategory to Traditional, Black and Grey, and so on. You can slice this pie, pizza, or flammkuchen however you want.

You can also set your defaults once for a category: consent forms, aftercare PDFs, ink passports, and every new service under that category inherits them. Does one service not fit the pattern? Override it. Simple as that.

You can apply the same control to each service individually: bookable online or not, deposit required or not, payment upfront or not, tied to a project or not.

Not sure how you want to slice your pie, pizza, or flammkuchen? We’ll talk through that with you and help you pick a method that’s best for you.

Automated emails, laid out clearly

Reminders, deposits, aftercare, consent forms, ink passports – all firing automatically, now mapped out in a flowchart that is visible to you. It shows you exactly when each email is going out. Templates come translated across multiple languages with a live preview as you edit, and you can include (or not include) the artist’s name on any email.

Remember that customer

Don’t you . . . forget about that customer (You had to know I’d bring that song back in somewhere. The cheese award goes too. . . ME!)

Customer history now includes cancelled projects and appointments, not just active or completed ones. The full record gives you a more detailed overview of your customers, if ever a dispute comes up, when a client returns after time away, or whenever context matters.

What’s next

A new dashboard that can be your home screen, and it gives you the highlights of your week, your availability, and more. We’re also setting up an omnichannel inbox that lets you connect WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and email inside Tattoogenda. This means every conversation lives in one place, and you can reply across channels from one single inbox.
