Diana's creatieve wortels liggen diep. Ze studeerde monumentale en decoratieve schilderkunst aan het Ivan Trush Lviv Staatscollege voor Decoratieve en Toegepaste Kunsten en droomde ervan om van kunst een carri\u00e8re te maken. Maar toen er te weinig geld was, moest ze haar studie onderbreken. \u201cIk begon met tatoe\u00ebren om geld te verdienen,\u201d herinnert ze zich, \u201cen toen ik zag hoe natuurlijk het voelde, wist ik dat ik me er volledig aan moest wijden.\u201d<\/p>

Toen ze net 16 was kocht Diana haar eerste tatoeagekit van AliExpress, begon met varkenshuid en fruit en ging al snel over op het zetten van echte tatoeages tegen een kleine vergoeding. Diana's tatoeagestijl is illustratief modern-traditioneel, met een unieke twist: haar terugkerende wereld van \u201ckleine laarsjesmensen\u201d. \u201cElk ontwerp is een sc\u00e8ne, een klein verhaal,\u201d legt ze uit. \u201cIk vind het leuk om mijn personages retro kleding te geven, zoals jaren 60 polka-dot rokjes, en altijd laarzen. Dat is hun identiteit.\u201d<\/p>

De esthetiek is schoon, gedurfd en charmant, met sterke zwarte vlakken, slimme huidonderbrekingen en heldere contouren die sierlijk verouderen. Diana's creatieve proces begint met een vraag: Wat doen mijn personages vandaag? \u201cIk wil iets cre\u00ebren dat emotioneel verbonden is met mijn klant, iets vertrouwds. Of het nu gaat om interactie met objecten of met elkaar, haar personages vertellen altijd een verhaal.<\/p>

Als gastartiest krijgt ze haar genezen tatoeages vaak niet meer te zien-\u201cdus het voltooien van de tatoeage is bitterzoet. Ik hou van het proces en voel me altijd een beetje verdrietig als het voorbij is.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Diana begon haar tatoeage reis met het experimenteren met realisme, vaak met sessies van 5-9 uur. Maar het paste niet bij haar persoonlijkheid of creatieve richting. \u201cUiteindelijk ging ik voor eenvoudigere ontwerpen, die meer op mij leken en waar veel vraag naar was.\u201d<\/p>

Vandaag de dag zijn de kledingdetails in haar tatoeages - vooral de retro laarzen en patronen - haar handtekening geworden. En haar favoriete onderwerpen?
