Our system is set up in a way that makes bookings simple, yet complete<\/a>. One of the fields you or your receptionist have to fill in while booking is the description of the project (tattoo). You of course have all of the other fields for things like color, placement, size, etc\u2026<\/p>

For the description however, it\u2019s important that you let your client tell their story. <\/strong>Asking if there\u2019s a symbolic meaning behind their idea and writing it all down will make them feel cared for. Let\u2019s say a client comes in asking for a lion and its 2 cubs<\/strong> and your receptionist figures out that for the client it\u2019s a symbol for family (with e.g. 2 children) and protection. Of course, they fill it in and the information gets to the artist. Idealistically your receptionist would then ask them if they\u2019re open for other, more original ideas with the same meaning.<\/p>

Most of us artists dread the idea of doing yet another lion<\/strong> or compass tattoo. However, you\u2019re now aware of the significance behind that lion request and luckily, your receptionist has already mentally prepared the customer to be open for the artist\u2019s input. For the tattoo artists that like working with reference pictures their client provided, TattooGenda has also got you covered, because among other things<\/a> you also have the option to upload additional references. Asking for those will make your client feel involved and listened to which in return will make you seem trustworthy.<\/strong><\/p>

On the other hand, if a client hasn\u2019t looked up any examples yet, asking for example pictures might get the client too attached to a tattoo they found online and it might make them close-minded.
