En collaboration avec Tattoogenda, nous vous pr\u00e9sentons l'histoire d'Alex But, n\u00e9 Olexander But, un tatoueur ukrainien de 27 ans qui a troqu\u00e9 un avenir d'ing\u00e9nieur contre l'art de l'encre. Passionn\u00e9 par le tatouage traditionnel am\u00e9ricain, Alex associe aujourd'hui cette base \u00e0 un style plus illustratif et moderne, cr\u00e9ant ainsi un style audacieux et lisible qui capture la structure, la forme et l'\u00e9motion.<\/p>

Un changement de cap\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Alex a commenc\u00e9 sa vie d'adulte sur un chemin tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent : il \u00e9tudiait l'ing\u00e9nierie \u00e0 l'universit\u00e9 polytechnique de Kharkiv, en Ukraine. Pour subvenir \u00e0 ses besoins, il travaillait le week-end dans un bar \u00e0 sushis. Mais quelque chose ne tournait pas rond. \u201cAu bout de deux ans, j'ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que l'ing\u00e9nierie n'\u00e9tait pas ma passion\u201d, explique-t-il. \u201cL'art avait toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 mon truc.\u201d<\/p>

Cette prise de conscience a tout chang\u00e9. Il a quitt\u00e9 l'universit\u00e9, a repris ses carnets de croquis et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 se plonger dans le tatouage.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Autodidacte, autodidacte\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Sans formation formelle et sans iPad en vue, Alex a cr\u00e9\u00e9 son premier flashbook \u00e0 l'aide de crayons, de marqueurs et d'aquarelles. \u201cJe l'ai montr\u00e9 \u00e0 mes amis et j'ai fini par acheter un kit de tatouage \u00e0 un artiste local. Il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 tatouer des amis proches et, peu \u00e0 peu, la nouvelle s'est r\u00e9pandue. Bient\u00f4t, les gens venaient le voir pour des pi\u00e8ces personnalis\u00e9es, et c'est \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0 que tout est devenu r\u00e9alit\u00e9.<\/p>

Aujourd'hui, Alex est connu pour son style \u00e9volutif : un m\u00e9lange d'illustration et de tradition, toujours avec un fort contraste, des zones noires solides et des motifs nets et intentionnels. Son sujet de tatouage pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 ? L'architecture. \u201cIl y a quelque chose de fascinant \u00e0 transformer des b\u00e2timents massifs ou des structures industrielles en petites \u0153uvres d'art portables.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Le processus cr\u00e9atif\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

C'est dans la cr\u00e9ation qu'Alex s'\u00e9panouit. \u201cJe me mets dans l'ambiance, je planifie le nombre de pi\u00e8ces que je veux cr\u00e9er ce jour-l\u00e0, j'esquisse des id\u00e9es et je les rassemble sur une seule toile - parfois sur papier, parfois sous forme num\u00e9rique.\u201d Il s'efforce de dessiner de 10 \u00e0 15 motifs flash par jour, ce qui lui permet d'avoir un flux constant de travaux frais et uniques.<\/p>

D\u00e9fis et croissance\n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Il a fallu des ann\u00e9es de patience pour ma\u00eetriser l'ombrage au fouet et le travail au trait fin. Mais pour Alex, ces techniques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 cruciales pour d\u00e9velopper la pr\u00e9cision. \u201cChaque technique a sa courbe d'apprentissage, mais comprendre comment une machine interagit avec la peau fait toute la diff\u00e9rence.\u201d<\/p>

Pour l'avenir, Alex continue de se d\u00e9velopper en observant d'autres artistes, en \u00e9tudiant diff\u00e9rents styles et en cr\u00e9ant de nouvelles \u0153uvres chaque mois. \u201cC'est ainsi que j'\u00e9volue.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
