Young gi Cho, also known as YGTattoos, hails from Seoul, Korea, and is 32 years old. With a rich background in classical piano and composition, his transition to tattoo artistry was an unexpected but fulfilling turn. After years of studying music and a brief diversion into a university education and military service, Young gi felt a renewed passion for the arts. Guided by his older brother, a tattoo artist, he embarked on a tattoo apprenticeship, despite lacking formal drawing training.<\/p>

“At first, it was challenging since I didn\u2019t have a background in drawing,” YG recalls. “But my brother encouraged me that it was possible, and that gave me the confidence to pursue it. I spent three years learning the craft, focusing on drawing and observing the work of great artists. I began to perfect my skills in micro-realism, which required precision and an understanding of skin types.
